About Our Reptile Rescue
Who We Are
Secondhand Serpents Reptile Rescue is a fiscally sponsored project of Omnia Humanitas, a 501(c)3 non-profit encouraging “all that is good for mankind”. Donations made to Secondhand Serpents through Omnia Humanitas are tax deductible and support the on-going upkeep of the reptiles and Secondhand Serpents' educational programs.
Our belief is that every animal deserves a chance to be saved and properly cared for, even reptiles.
Our History
We are a reptile rescue based in North East, MD. Although the rescue has only been established since 2022, we have been rescuing reptiles in an unofficial capacity for years.
Reptiles Are Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a safe place to surrender unwanted reptiles
To rehabilitate when necessary and find the perfect homes for them.
And to educate the community.
